Our client, a financial technology company, is looking for a Project Manager I to join their team for a short term contract with possibility to extend!

Project Manager I Responsibilities:

  • Using agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions where possible
  • Determining and managing tasks, issues, risks, and action items and escalating to management for resolution
  • Scheduling and facilitating meetings and decision-making processes, inclusive of escalating blockers timely for management view
  • Monitoring progress and performance on deliverables and helping teams to make improvements
  • Planning and organizing team wide efforts where needed
  • Ensuring the proper use of collaborative processes and removing impediments for the team
  • Tracking project processes, deliverables, and milestone reporting via scorecard
  • Preparing and presenting status reports to stakeholders
  • Preparing executive level reporting on set cadences
Project Manager I Qualifications:
  • Experience in financial services industry
  • Certified scrum master preferred but not required
  • 3+ years of experience as a project manager and presentation designer or in similar roles
  • Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver solutions
  • Excellent people and project management skills
  • Strong communication and presentation design skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to assist in organizing team documents and labeling
