National Healthcare client is seeking a PROPOSAL COORDINATOR who is organized, self-driven, and comes with a research background preferably from healthcare. This role requires a very professional demeanor. The basics of the role are researching databases, the web and other online sources for responses to customer-specific questions. A background in working with a proposal process (RFP, RFI, RFQ) and in writing marketing copy to support the team will be highly sought.

This role will work with teams typically on larger projects but could be asked to manage smaller ones themselves. It is customary that this person become comfortable with researching all the internal resources to filter for appropriate content. In the support role, this may include populating developed content into proposals, taking notes and helping with tasks such as creating binders for RFP submittals.


  • Prioritize, coordinate and track RFP tasks & deliverables
  • Research and find copy from a variety of sources
  • Input responses into platforms accurately and timely
  • Work with internal partners to gather information and communicate the status
  • Able to contribute on various projects and teams, easily going from one to the other
  • Format, prepare and edit proposal documents
  • Some administrative tasks such as updating excel spreadsheets may be required
  • Responsible for note taking during meetings
  • Solid use of Excel, PowerPoint and Word required

Skills and Requirements:

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills - able to interact with the teams and internal and external customers
  • Contribute strong analytical and research skills
  • Deadline driven
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • RFP experience and a healthcare background is a huge plus
  • 2+ years experience with proposal management, research, marketing and/or proposal writing
  • BA required
