Our client, a financial technology company, is looking for an Online Community Manager and Qualitative Researcher to join their team in for a long-term, remote contract role!

Online Community Manager and Qualitative Researcher Responsibilities:

  • This role will be responsible for managing and conducting qualitative research through the organizations online community members, including the following tasks:
    • Project Coordination
    • Processing incentives
    • Coordinating Deactivations
    • Topic Planning
    • Acting as POC for community members
    • Supporting recruitment initiatives
  • Owning end-to-end execution of online qualitative research projects.
  • Translating complex business strategy questions into human-centered learning objectives
  • Creating study designs and options, working cross-functionally across different departments as required.
  • Developing and calendarizing discussion guides.
  • Moderating online community, conducting in-depth interviews, and moderating online focus groups.
  • Develop and program other elements within online community including: insider chats, member tips forums, community fun, etc..
  • Analysis and synthesis of research findings
  • Utilize strong storytelling skills including analysis, insights, and foresights.
  • Create PowerPoint presentations of findings
  • Present insights (1-2 monthly)
Online Community Manager and Qualitative Researcher Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5-7 years of experience in qualitative research, financial/credit industry experience preferred
  • Experience managing an online community/research community (exp. with Recollective platform preferred)
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Highly proficient in PowerPoint
  • Strong Storyteller: presents findings and insights to all levels of the organization, accommodating needs of stakeholders to ensure results are consumable
  • Must have familiarity with multiple research methodologies (qualitative and quantitative) and must understand appropriate application of varying qualitative methodologies specifically.
  • Expertise integrating qualitative and quantitative research to develop strategic and actionable recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute consumer research projects with various methodologies to generate customer insights, and tie these insights to actionable business recommendations.
