Onward Play is in search of a collaborative and passionate Brand Manager to join our gaming client's game franchise team. If you have a proven track record of creating impactful marketing campaigns driven by data and insights, this role is for you. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic plans, communications, and initiatives that attract new audiences and nurture our dedicated player base for years to come.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the global brand for the franchise, ensuring effective and adaptable communication strategies
- Collaborate with regional leaders to coordinate, develop, measure, and enhance global marketing strategies and tactics
- Partner with Product Management and Live Ops teams to provide insights for business decisions, identify new opportunities, and oversee publishing team finances
- Coordinate with Community, Public Relations, Consumer Marketing, and other discipline leads to create comprehensive and impactful marketing programs
- Collaborate with the Director and Consumer Marketing leads to understand regional requirements and contribute to the creative development of core marketing assets
- Analyze performance data to identify challenges and opportunities for overall publishing and marketing efforts
- Mentor and develop team members, share marketing best practices across franchises and adjacent groups, and facilitate knowledge sharing
- Manage partner marketing initiatives, including 1st party partner promotions, co-marketing deals, and more
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant brand/product marketing experience
- Experience working with international marketing teams, driving regional execution improvements
- Ability to collaborate closely with game development teams to develop effective marketing initiatives
- Strong coordination skills with Community, Public Relations, and Consumer/Digital Marketing leads to create integrated campaigns
- Excellent presentation skills and the ability to advocate for and champion initiatives in a complex, cross-functional environment
- A genuine passion for video games
Preferred (Pluses):
- Passion for and deep understanding of the game's franchise
- Experience working on games-as-a-service video games
- Previous involvement in large-scale events
