Senior Engineer (Video Game)

Our client is looking for a remote direct hire/full-time Sr. Engineer. We are looking for candidates with the following skillset and experience to fill the role. 

 

Skillset:

• Work with designers and animators to help implement realistic character animation to create a fun, immersive, beautiful experience - work that can range from high fidelity locomotion to reactive gameplay animation.
• Drive technical requirements on characters, animation, and environment art assets. Collaborate with Production to ensure work is planned and progressing as expected according to project goals.

Wanted:

• 5 years of professional experience creating character-driven action games, at least 3 those using Unreal.
• Has at least one shipped title, good sense of "game feel"
• Enthusiasm to collaborate and communicate with a team of other programmers, artists, designers
• Console exp with playstation, xbox, switch preferred
• Experience with a variety of gameplay programming areas such as multiplayer, camera, AI behavior, or UI.
• Experience with rendering technologies in Unreal.
