Onward Search needs a Vulnerability Management Technical Security Engineer for a major search engine.
You’ll join the Tech team to develop custom solutions for the Vulnerability Management program.
This is an 18 month+ contract opportunity.
As a Vulnerability Management Technical Security Engineeryou’ll:
Automate operational vulnerability management activities, including examples such as vulnerability ticketing, data analysis, remediation validation, and notifications to leadership
Identify additional opportunities for automation in order to increase efficiency, accuracy, capabilities, and scope of our vulnerability management program
Present technology demos and solicit feature requests
Create metrics reports and dashboards related to data collected by vulnerability detection methods
Skills & Experience needed:
Minimum 3 - 5 years of hands-on software engineering experience
Well versed in devops, C/CD tools
Familiarity with writing and interfacing with APIs. Jira API experience a plus.
Infrastructure-as-code (terraform, salt, etc)
Extensive experience with Python
AWS or CP or other cloud experience
Familiarity with kubernetes/docker deployments in the cloud
