Onward Search has an exciting Business Analyst opportunity with one of our FinTech clients!
We are seeking an Enterprise System Integration Analyst to play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless integration of enterprise systems, ultimately enhancing the functionality and efficiency of our organization. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with various stakeholders and internal business units, including Finance, HR, Compliance, and Customer Experience, to define and document integration requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible for API and data analysis, test planning and execution, and maintaining interface catalog documentation.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to identify and document functional and non-functional integration requirements, as well as user acceptance testing scenarios.
Analyze a variety of enterprise applications and their API/interface documentation, creating detailed integration requirements and mapping specifications. This includes hands-on experience with tools like Postman, soapUI, and SQL queries for data analysis.
Facilitate project hand-offs to execution teams, ensuring clear acceptance criteria are defined within Feature Stories.
Develop and execute test plans and test scripts, maintaining the test catalog to ensure integration quality.
Manage the interface catalog, keeping definitions and data objects up-to-date.
Prioritize and triage new software integration requests and enhancement requests in collaboration with stakeholders.
Proactively contribute to the improvement of Enterprise Applications & Integrations through an engineering mindset.
Manage multiple features/projects concurrently, effectively balancing priorities.
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and conduct sprint reviews with stakeholders.
Minimum of 5 years of experience working on complex cross-functional initiatives as a Business Analyst/Product Owner, with prior engineering experience.
Proficiency with large-scale enterprise platforms, such as NetSuite, Salesforce, Anaplan, and Workday, including a deep understanding of system interfaces (REST, SOAP, GraphQL).
Experience as an engineer, preferably with iPaaS solutions like MuleSoft, Workato, or similar platforms, along with automation tools.
Familiarity with ETL/data warehouse tools, including knowledge of data transformation, data mappings, and data scrubbing.
Proven experience in gathering, analyzing, and translating requirements into detailed functional requirements, non-functional requirements, and user stories for system interfaces.
Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
Proficiency in Agile Development, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
Quick learner, capable of adapting to a dynamic, fast-paced, and evolving environment.
Effective in collaborating with local, remote, and global team members across different time zones in a remote-first organization.
