Game Programmer (Canada)

Our client, a VR game development studio is creating the next generation of online gaming for multiplayer games in VR, is seeking a highly-motivated Gameplay Engineer who will join an in-studio team in the creation and support of our VR game.

We are looking for an experienced Gameplay Programmer to join our team. You will be building the next generation of games across multiple platforms (Desktop VR, Mobile VR, Console VR). Multiple years of experience with Unity (or other 3D game engines like Unreal.)

Duties

• Design, build, implement, and maintain significant portions of our core game systems and tools across multiple platforms (Desktop VR, Mobile VR, Console VR)
• Assist with build debugging and deployment across all platforms
• Work on a wide variety of features and systems

Must Haves

• A Bachelor’s degree 
• professional game development experience
• Experience with version control software (Git), rendering, memory and performance optimization, game security or cryptography, networking and multiplayer concepts
• Fluency in C#
• Experience with Unity, Unreal, or a similar game engine
• live services exp is a plus
