Our client, a VR game development studio is creating the next generation of online gaming for multiplayer games in VR. Seeking a highly-motivated Backend Engineer who will join an in-studio team in the creation and support of our VR game.

Building the next generation of games across multiple platforms, must have multiple years of experience with Unity (or other 3D game engines like Unreal) and are excited by the opportunity to build systems, interactions, and mechanics.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, implement, and maintain significant portions of our core game systems and tools across multiple platforms
  • Contribute creatively by being involved in the design process and proactively prototyping new ideas and solutions
  • Assist with build debugging and deployment across all platforms
  • Work on a wide variety of features and systems
  • Experience with version control software (Git) and rendering, memory and performance optimization
  • Fluency in C#, Unity, Unreal, or a similar game engine
