Onward Search is looking for a Report Specialist with PowerBI experience to join our Fortune 500 client in Atlanta! This is a W2 contract role expected to last for 3+ months and 40 hours/week onsite are expected.

You will gather, verify, and manipulate data for report generation, as well as perform data entry, data mining, queries, and audits of data from different departments and create and distribute associated reports. The primary tools to be used are PowerBI, Excel, and Access.

Skills:

  • Updates standard reports to reflect changes in reporting needs.
  • Makes suggestions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of current reporting processes
  • Gathers and organizes data to create reports from integrated systems.
  • Responds to requests for reports, creating and distributing custom reports as needed.
  • Runs custom data queries.
  • Reviews and monitors the validity of data entered into systems and/or provided to users to ensure accuracy.
  • Corrects errors and resolves discrepancies with data and reports.
  • Provides data entry assistance to the organization as needed.
  • Responds to questions and concerns from various business units within the organization.
  • Provides external survey responses to display customer input.
  • Creates presentations to communicate data in visual and written formats using online tools.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 2-5 years of professional experience manipulating data and creating reports.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerBI including the creation of custom dashboards.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Access and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
