Our client, an entertainment based agency, is seeking an Creative Resource Manager to join the video editorial team.

Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role in managing both the editorial staff and producer’s projects acting as the “air traffic controller” of the team being a problem solver who approaches everything from a neutral outlook.
  • Check in with all editors daily (AM & PM) to discuss current project needs and upcoming video projects
  • Coordinate & check in consistently with all producers, associate producers, and creative managers to get updates on existing projects
  • Assesses shifting priorities then creates and communicates company wide action plan
  • Leads daily cross departmental meeting where the AV, editorial, and project needs are communicated verbally and visually
  • Consistently follows up with team members to ensure work is getting done within client ‘s timelines
  • Manages all scheduling daily & vacations for a staff of 35, and creates coverage plan
  • Creates opportunities for editors and producers to work together on projects that help individual & company growth
  • Updates Slack channel meticulously throughout the day

Musts:

  • 3-5 years experience in an fast paced creative environment with a traffic, planning, project management or producing back-ground
  • Strong experience in managing a high number of people, projects with daily shifting priorities
  • Familiar with entertainment based video projects like trailers
  • Cool under pressure able to work well with varying personalities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
