Onward Search has an exciting opportunity for a Retail Planner with a leading home goods retailer!

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Planning sales and forecast appropriate inventory levels by SKU
  • Reviewing visual floor set to insure appropriate inventory in-stock requirements
  • Identifying potential inventory liabilities and take appropriate actions to bring quantity to a desired level
  • Building a team relationship with merchant counterpart(s)
  • Determining quantity to purchase for new and continuing SKUs
  • Forecasting review and revise inventory purchases to maintain optimum inventory flow
  • Managing and maintaining department financial forecast. (OTB/rolling forecast) Take timely action to maximize sales, profitability and inventory productivity

You must have 1+ years of retail planning and distribution experience.Previous experience forecasting sales and Inventory Management experience is required.

This is an onsite long term contract role located in San Francisco that kicks off later this month!
