As a Content Editor, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Coaching and managing a team of writers throughout the entire content creation process, including research, reporting, writing, and continuous improvement.
  • Enhancing storytelling by editing story structure, refining introductions to engage readers, and providing constructive feedback to the team.
  • Rewriting content when necessary to ensure clarity and cohesiveness, while maintaining brand alignment in terms of tone, style, and content flow.
  • Ensuring video scripts align with visual elements for a seamless viewer experience.

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of professional editing experience, demonstrating a meticulous eye for detail and the ability to craft compelling stories.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a collaborative and problem-solving people manager, with a track record of fostering team growth and success.
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Creative Writing, English, Marketing, Communications, or a related field from an accredited, not-for-profit university or college.
  • Strong multitasking skills, ensuring the team stays on task and assignments are tracked through all stages of production.
