Our client has 20+ years' experience developing careers of professional real estate and architectural photographers. We are looking to add a dynamic creative leader to our full-time staff of hundreds of photography professionals responsible for the continued expansion of our visual impact on the transformation of real estate. This role will be based at our innovative and growing Richmond Virginia campus.

The Creative Director, Photography and Video will be responsible for the expansion of skills and capabilities of our architectural photography team.

HYBRID WORK SCHEDULE. 4 DAYS IN OFFICE, 1 DAY WORK FROM HOME. RELOCATION TO RICHMOND, VA REQUIRED

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the creative vision and innovative strategy of brands for photography, videography, and other media for existing and future platforms.
  • Create brand standards, training, and quality assurance of visual media.
  • Analyze, refine, or develop processes that achieve improved quality and standards of video, photography, and drone work across the department.
  • Continuous improvement of product produced through new formats and equipment.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding of a team of photographers, videographers, leadership, and training team members to support the brand quality.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of leading creative projects and teams
  • Demonstrated portfolio showcasing development and leadership in visual storytelling
  • 5+ years of creative project management for large-scale photography and videography events and campaigns
  • Experience with directing and effectively critiquing creative work from internal producers, agencies, or contractors
  • Demonstrable practical experience as a professional photographer through submission of past work
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, IE: Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, or similar
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience using MAC OS and MS Office
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills and comfort working in a fast-paced environment
  • A strong relationship builder with an ability to facilitate ideation, collaboration and decision-making.
