Our client is looking to hire a COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER for a 2+ month remote assignment. This person will partner with the Director of Communications and will help with special projects on an as needed basis. They will also help develop and implement a strategy that grows their media relations and exposure.
RESPONSIBILITES, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Write and distribute media materials, press releases, and other action emails to media
Demonstrates leadership and ability to work independently
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills
Media relations in a nonprofit environment a plus
Writing samples required
Three to five years of professional experience
