Onward Search has an exciting opportunity for a Copywriter/ Editor with a leading SF healthcare company! Specific responsibilities will including taking two 90-page legal/ contract documents and updating the language to reflect a cohesive brand and tonality. These documents have legal language that is written by the State and will have to be approved by the Compliance department, internal stakeholders and the State to later be distributed to members and providers. Some of the legal language will need to be made more user friendly.

You must have 3+ years of copywriting, editing and some technical writing experience with a strong eye for detail. Knowledge of Medi-Cal and/ or Managed Care is a huge plus!

This is an onsite contract role located in San Francisco that is expected to be 6-12 weeks of work. There may be 1 day off a week to allow for feedback from stakeholders and approvals from the State on the content. This role kicks off this month.

  • MS Word, MS Office
  • Preferable if you have your own laptop, otherwise one can be provided
  • Must have strong editing skills
