Onward Search is looking for a Copywriter who will help our client's brand reach the masses through compelling and out-of-the-box messaging. You will remain true to the company brand but also reference the latest social and marketplace trends to enhance and build upon their existing voice.   • Collaborate closely with the Creative Director to determine the best messaging approach for any project - headlines, taglines, banners, social media, etc.
  • Concept, and execute ideas for a variety of campaigns, including but not limited to online, interactive, print, in-store, TV, environmental, event, guerrilla, mobile and social
  • Write and revise innovative and imaginative copy according to creative briefs and deadlines
  • Perform ongoing research on current industry trends to maintain fresh and relevant perspective in all communications


  • 3+ years working in an agency setting
  • Experience working closely with an Art Director/ Creative Director
  • Must be able to provide samples showcasing integrated campaigns
  • Ability to write catchy headlines and taglines that are still within the brand voice but pushes the boundary just a bit to add a little humor and fun


  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
