Our National healthcare client is looking for a self-motivated JR MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS/CONTENT SPECIALIST with experience creating customer-facing communications and web content development. The role is responsible for writing, editing, and proofreading online content that meets client's standards. Additionally, the right candidate will be responsible for developing content to support site promotions, email newsletters, and online outreach campaigns.

This position is within an IT department reporting to the director of Channel Marketing.

SKILLS:

  • Create, edit, proofread content for website, email, presentations, print materials
  • Engage in the creation and maintenance of the website including service pages and landing pages
  • Conduct interviews with internal stakeholders for information and developing engaging content
  • Collaborate and assist with various marketing communications projects
  • Write customer-facing content for online campaigns, site promos, email newsletters and more
  • Quickly learn brand and product standards to keep tone, voice and style consistent
  • Participate in content brainstorming sessions with stakeholders and contributors

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA preferably in a related field
  • 3+ years experience in a communications environment
  • Portfolio with professional level writing and editing samples for web and print
  • Some graphic design experience
  • Web publishing experience (CMS, HTML, CSS a plus)
  • Collaborative
  • Sense of urgency, solution finder
  • Strong communication and planning skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem solver, self directed
  • Presentation skills in PowerPoint

PREFERRED:

  • Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe InDesign, Word Press, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices
  • Self motivated, strong verbal skills

  • Current, passion for learning
