Onward Search has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Copywriter with a growing innovative student financial technology company! Specific responsibilities will include the development of fresh headlines, taglines and content for digital, social, print and experiential integrated advertising campaigns.

You must have 5+ years of copywriting experience with strong conceptual skills with the ability to mentor junior writers. You should also be excited about being a part of a growing internal agency working together to drive a brand forward. Agency experience is also a huge plus!

This is an onsite contract role located in San Francisco with the opportunity to become more of a longer term engagement.

  • Bachelor’s degree with English/Advertising/Journalism focus
  • Work station provided
  • Must be accustomed to collaborating with designers and creative directors
  • A clever and or humorous tone is a plus!
  • Knowledge of financial services or personal finance a plus!


  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
