Onward Search has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Art Director with a leading SF advertising agency! Specific responsibilities will include establishing styles working with and shaping brand identities to create digital visual concepts from wireframes. You will also assist in overseeing creative budgets and timelines for projects.

Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Produces innovative yet intuitive design solutions that address complex business, marketing and user needs
  • Follows through on original concepts with clear, concise art direction that is both visually interesting and appropriate to the subject matter
  • Integrates designs with brand and aesthetic cues while pushing the creativity of the work and evolving style standards
  • Follows best practices for quality user experience design from ideation, user flow and wireframes to final visual design and implementation
  • Maintains responsibility for project through final execution, including QA and reviewing and signing off on all revisions and production phases to ensure that selling message is clear
  • Applies new user experience and design fundamentals into brand development

You must have 5+ years of digital art direction experience preferably within an agency setting in addition to user experience design examples in your portfolio. You must also have experience and be comfortable with presenting to clients.

This is a contract to full-time opportunity located in San Francisco that kicks off next month!

  • Photoshop, InDesign, Sketch
  • Must have the ability to help guide, mentor and collaborate with other designers
  • Work station provided


  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
