Overview:

As an Instructional Designer, you will create robust, innovative, engaging, and impactful classroom/online courses and training materials. You will work directly with business stakeholders and the People Team to manage projects autonomously to take training materials from concept to implementation.

What you will be doing:

  • Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances the learner’s experience and changes behaviors

  • Decide on the criteria used to judge learner’s performance and develop assessment instruments

  • Design a variety of instructional materials including traditional instructor-led courses, online programs, video and web-based learning aids or products, and other programs as needed

  • Create and redesign courses for online presentations that are conducive to a diverse

    workforce (i.e. exempt and non-exempt teams of varying skill sets) Work directly with key

    stakeholders to ship deliverables and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Utilize multimedia technology and eLearning authoring tools

  • Independently project manage performance management for non-exempt employees

About you: knowledge, skills, abilities:

  • Experience in instructional design or educational content development

  • Experience independently managing and delivering multiple projects at one time

  • Experience in scalable eLearning solutions

  • Consulting, relationship-management, and problem-solving experience

  • Experience in the design, development, implementation, and management of both

    online and instructor-led training solutions

  • Experience with Learning Management Systems, authoring and design tools(Adobe Captivate, Camtasia etc)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Web-based, eLearning, technical skills (Ex. HTML5, Evolve, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)

  • Understanding of learning needs of hourly employees and tools like Workday etc

  • Experience in handling Performance Management processes is a plus
