Onward Search has a great opportunity for a for a Motion Graphics Designer/Video Editorwith our client, a growing media production agency! This person will be reporting to their Chief Creative Officer.

Responsibilities:

  • Craft premium content for large digital advertisers) on all major social media advertising platforms
  • Ideate fresh ways to market products while adhering to companies' brand guidelines
  • Synthesize large amounts of information into engaging short videos
  • Oversee post-production and final video approvals
  • Oversee junior editors/contractors when necessary & provide critical feedback
  • Collaborate with our analytics team to use past performance to influence future creative

Experience:

  • Experience as a professional content creator for 3+ years
  • Experience designing content directly for social media (not re-purposed)
  • Deep familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (especially After Effects)
  • Deep familiarity with color correction, typography, graphic design, illustration
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Ability to give and receive critical feedback in a small team environment
  • Ability to produce content in a fast-paced work environment
  • An expert in short-form storytelling and pacing
  • An expert in graphic design and typography
  • An expert in typography and kinetic typography
  • A self-starter who doesn't require much guidance
  • An outstanding collaborator
  • Willing to take creative risks
  • Knowledgeable about new video editing trends and techniques
  • Obsessed with results and metrics
  • Bonus: A former/current athlete
