Senior Merchandising Manager - Ecommerce

Our client, an e-commerce jewelry company is seeking a Senior Merchandising Manager for a direct hire role.

Responsibilities:

• Develop category plan for business, outlining strategic initiatives and goals by sub-category
• Evaluate and drive category performance including sales growth, productivity, margin and sell-through
• Identify opportunities to influence category performance
• Manage product assortment
• Collaborate with product development and design team
• Collaborate with ecommerce and marketing teams to achieve merchandising goals
• Train, manage and develop team with varying levels of experience

Experience:

• 8+ years of merchandising experience in a consumer-based retail environment
• Experience in fine jewelry and/or e-commerce preferred
• Exposure to demand forecasting, retail merchandise planning, inventory management best practices and inventory systems
• Must have robust Microsoft Excel skills
• Proven managerial and coaching ability
