Onward Search has an exciting opportunity for an Editor/Motion Graphics Designer with our client, a renowned computer and mobile accessories company.

This is a 6+ week freelance, on-site opportunity located in the East Bay that kicks-off at the beginning for February.


  • Create compelling 2D/3D motion graphics
  • Have non-linear video editing and color correction
  • Work with Design team on special project
  • Drive video and motion graphics production from concept, through script and visual development, to production, post production and final delivery
  • Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to design and execute storyboards to lock in vision early
  • Animating graphics, characters, and text


  • 3-8+ years of editing and motion design experience either in-house, agency, or similar setting
  • A demonstrated sense of visual rhythm and sense of composition and style
  • Expertise in Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Strong animation skills and experience with 3D software, such as Blender 3D, Maya, and Cinema 4D, etc.
  • Strong reel / portfolio is a must
  • Up to date on industry standard software, plugins, and workflow tools
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Can work under tight deadlines


  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
