Our client is looking for a Scrum Master to coordinate and inspire a cross-functional team responsible for global personalization strategies on site, in email and through media. Team members include representatives from multiple internal & external organizations such as marketing, creative, IS & outside agency partners. The scrum master will lead the workflow including process, documentation and defined roles and responsibilities. They will manage all personalization projects through agile practices. As a member of this marketing team, you will work in a fast-paced environment, and be part of the Global Consumer Marketing organization.

As a Scrum Master, you will facilitate all agile processes, lead agile team meetings and manage projects through project management tools including Jira and Confluence. You will help resolve issues raised within the team and prioritize the day to day work. The Scrum Master ensures the team completes sprints on time, monitors throughput, and ensures requests coming to the team are accurate and actionable. The role facilitates the day to day personalization project workflow and collaborates closely with all team members to ensure commitments are met.

Skills:

  • Set up and take ownership of daily stand-ups, retrospectives, sprint reviews and sprint planning sessions.
  • Leverage JIRA and Confluence for project and document management.
  • Ensures meeting outcomes are defined, understood and achieved for the Scrum meetings (Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective meetings).
  • Facilitate input and team interactions; ensure the communication of scope and requirements changes throughout the team.
  • Support management of the backlog, ensuring Scrum process standards, identification of stakeholders and stakeholder conditions of acceptance.
  • Work daily with the team to assess workload, provide direction, and raise impediments.
  • Support onboarding of agile process across the group and drive optimizations in the process.
  • Remove obstacles that affect the team.
  • Creates essential subtasks, solicits accurate story pointing and locks applicable sprint scope.
  • Ensures all resources have work and are logging time within each sprint.
  • Reports on productivity, velocity, and when milestones will be achieved.
  • Foster knowledge sharing and assist with the creation and delivery of best practices documentation and training materials.

Requirements: 

  • Two to three years working in agile processes.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team.
