Global Firm in the Atlanta area is seeking a Scrum Master for a multi-year initiative/ongoing project.

As a scrum master, you will be responsible for facilitating the successful, on-time, high quality delivery of various product development activities by leading and coaching one or more delivery teams. You will play a key role in allowing the company to meet objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the effective application of Agile practices to project execution and delivery
  • Plays a key role in facilitating Agile ceremonies, planning of releases, removing obstacles for the dev team, providing guidance, supporting Agile teams, and promoting Agile values
  • Responsible for the planning and facilitation of standard ceremonies to include; backlog preparation, sprint planning, retrospectives, sprint reviews and daily stand-ups
  • Engages with any needed business entity to help remove obstacles to his or her teams being able to deliver on stated goals and helps to negotiate working agreements
  • Contributes to the agile community within and outside the business in order to better understand how to be effective in the role and apply experiences of other in improving team performance
