We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Security Policy and Standards Analyst to join our InfoSec client's team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the effective implementation and maintenance of security policies and standards within our organization. Your primary responsibilities will include partnering with stakeholders to develop, review, and publish security policies and standards, providing governance and oversight to ensure alignment and reduce duplicity, and maintaining Agile team operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate security policy and standard operations by partnering with stakeholders to draft, review, and publish security policies and standards.
  • Execute governance and oversight function by posing credible challenge to stakeholders on correct requirement document categorization, alignment with controls, and reduction of duplicity throughout the security policy and standard portfolio.
  • Maintain Agile team operations by creating and maintaining stories within Jira, and help drive sprint planning sessions, standups, and reporting.

Skills:

  • Security policy and standard writing: Proficient in developing and documenting security policies and standards using industry best practices.
  • Security governance: Knowledge and experience in establishing governance frameworks, ensuring compliance, and managing risk within an organization.
  • Agile project management: Familiarity with Agile methodologies, ability to create and manage stories within Jira, and experience in driving sprint planning sessions, standups, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite, Slack, Asana, Confluence, and Jira: Proficient in using various collaboration and project management tools to enhance team productivity and communication.

Education:

  • Degree in information security or a similar field, or compensating experience.
  • Nice to have: CISM, CRISC, or other relevant certifications.
