Our client, a company in Boca Raton is looking for an SEM Specialist to join their team! In this role, the SEM Specialist will be an integral part of the Online Marketing team, executing against key plans to drive business goals and profitability through paid search. In this role, you will be responsible for day-to-day implementation of initiatives, contributing to both growth and optimization of existing campaigns for multiple brands in both brand and non-brand keywords.


  • Manage day-to-day tactical execution: activations and pauses, ad copy tests, tracking updates, as assigned
  • Daily bid adjustments and position updates
  • Implement funnel testing for ad copy and landing pages
  • Execute campaign builds and restructures as developed through internal strategies
  • Daily program performance reporting
  • Manage weekly SQR review and optimization
  • Monitor campaign budgets
  • Manage promotional and pay-per-view calendars for proper SEM tactics
  • Monitor industry for changes and new developments, identify and escalate as appropriate
  • Monitor and report on competitive landscape
  • Research and report on search trends
  • Participate in weekly conference calls with search engine account teams
  • Other special projects and duties as assigned


  • 2-4 years of hands-on, tactical SEM campaign experience
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel (i.e. formulas, if statements, pivot tables, formatting)
  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, or related field, preferred
  • Current knowledge of the SEM landscape
  • Working knowledge of the engine UIs and AdWords/Bing Editors
  • Google and Bing certifications preferred
  • Experience in working in and managing bid optimization platforms
  • Experience working with analytical software (i.e. Google Analytics, WebTrends, Omniture)
  • Time management, organization, and attention to details
  • Ability to work self-directed, under pressure, meet deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and review and analyze data
  • Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)




  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
