Onward Search is on the hunt for a SEM/ Social Media Specialist to join our client for a full-time position.

You'll work as part of our client's media team and be responsible for helping to develop the strategy and execution of both SEM and Paid Social campaigns. You will handle our client's auction-based campaign management system, to help drive innovation and performance across search and social.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Plan paid SEM and social campaigns across, Google, Bing, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest
  • Work with strategy teams to formulate a strategic framework for SEM and paid social campaigns
  • Execute and manage paid search and social campaigns - monitor budgets, optimize performance across KPI's
  • Conduct daily and monthly budget management for the client

We are seeking SEM/ Social Media Specialists who meet the following requirements:

  • 2-3 years in SEM AND Paid Social
  • Must have a solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
  • Must be an expert in Excel for analysis and reporting
  • Must have experience in first-hand management of campaign budgets
  • Must have experience in bid management tools - Marin, Kenshoo, Doubleclick Bid Manager
  • Must have knowledge of pixel and tag management tools


  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
