Senior Technology Architect

In this role you will have expertise in Hybris, and preferably worked in the retail industry before. Our client is building out an e-commerce platform and you would be an integral part of the team as the primary client contact and driving changes and recommendations.

Job Summary:
The Senior Manager, Technology Hybris provides technical leadership throughout the lifecycle of a project, including direction on systems architecture, reuse, and development processes.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Expert level proficiency in Hybris
  • Serve as an advisor and problem solver to clients in their their use of the Hybris as their ecommerce platform and establish strategy for this account.
  • Translate the client’s business requirements into systems design
  • Establish all level plans for project teams
  • Lead the estimation effort and the risk management on the project
  • An ability to act as a mentor to other technical staff is critical

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required or equivalent military experience
  • Minimum of 6 years experience in enterprise architecture, systems integration, package implementation, and /or interactive design and architecture experience
  • Requires a strong understanding of complex computer science and software engineering principles
  • Expert proficiency in Java, OO Application Development, under UNIX or NT is required
  • Knowledge of multiple other technologies including but not limited to CGI, HTML, DHTML, XML, JavaScript, PL/SQL, Oracle Developer 2000 tools, C/C++, Perl, TCL, RDBMS, CORBA, COM is a plus
  • 2+ years of Hybris experience
  • Expertise in developing complex tiered Java based Internet applications.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage client accounts and multi-task Sapient teams
  • Proven leadership and managerial skills to independently manage 30+ people, during multiple phases of the project lifecycle
  • Experience providing a vision to the total solution, managing a track of work and defining a comprehensive solution leading toward a common vision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills, are essential
  • Must have: Multiple large ecommerce implementation experience
