Are you looking for a Sr. Copywriting opportunity to bring your concepting skills to the forefront of a large pharma client? Has social media become a second language to you. This may just be the one you have been waiting for.

Main duties and responsibilities: Concept ideas for site, social and other digital projects.

Client is a pharmaceutical company and we are helping them create social programs for two drugs. For the first drug, we are creating a community based, socially driven program which will live within Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. It will be engaging and help rally patients who may need this drug.

For the second drug, we are to define and create a social program/platform which will exist primarily in Instagram. Our team will generate ideas and concepts.

Requirements for this specific project: We need one Sr. Copywriter for each project. Both need to be able to concept ideas. They will be starting from scratch and working with a Sr. Art Director partner. These people MUST be digitally proficient, and have a lot of campaign experience. Experience with digital campaign development and creating content are crucial.

Skills for Senior Copywriter:

  • Collaborates with creative team to determine conceptual and copy direction
  • Determines the tone, style, structure and voice of client’s brand
  • Translates creative direction into engaging and effective copy concepts
  • Excels at writing catchy headlines and long copy
  • Understands business objectives and audience demographics
  • Presents copy and creative concepts to client


  • Fosters a collaborative, agile and innovative environment
  • Takes full ownership of projects
  • Serves as a mentor
  • Gives continuous feedback to peers
  • Champions the copy craft within the agency
  • Actively shapes and participates in company culture


  • 6+ years experience as a copywriter in an agency environment
  • Exceptional portfolio that demonstrates conceptual thinking
  • Outstanding writing skills, including the ability to write in a range of voices and styles
  • Strong understanding of UX principles and how it relates copy
  • Expert at strategic brainstorming, campaign development and creative execution
  • Acute attention to detail within demanding deadlines


  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in English, journalism, communications or Advertising/Portfolio school
