  • Works closely with members of the creative team and business partners to develop and create effective communications
  • Manages multiple deadlines on numerous concurrent jobs
  • Fill in for Creative Director when needed
  • Translate business intent into creative strategies and executions that market products effectively
  • Interpret market research and test results in order to use findings to focus targeted marketing messages
  • Facilitate brainstorm sessions
  • Recognizes ideas that should go forward
  • Write, concise, informative and engaging copy
  • Persuasively communicates creative ideas and rationale
  • Monitor projects to ensure creative intent is not diluted


  • A 4-year degree in in communications, creative writing, journalism or similar discipline
  • At least 6 years of writing experience (Financial Services experience, preferred)
  • Web, mobile, and social experience is a must
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating variety of experience with national advertising or marketing campaigns (annual reports, broadcast, print, web)
  • Direct Mail and/or web experience required within any industry (Financial Services, preferred).
  • Proven ability to coach and challenge design team to improve the effectiveness of creative
  • Working knowledge of Google Suite/Docs and Acrobat preferred
