Onward Search has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Designer to join one of the Bay Area’s top creative consultancies. This person will be responsible for a range of working including, but not limited to: leading concept development, designing unique creative solutions, logos design, creative visual systems and guidelines, managing and elevating the work, and quality tracking through the various stages of the design and production process.

This is 2-3 week freelance opportunity located in San Francisco that kicks off beginning of March.


  • Build-out existing brand guidelines across new platforms for various clients
  • Create original design work on a wide range of projects: identity, print, digital, environmental, etc.
  • Push the boundaries of the studio's design and aesthetic
  • Explore new and creative ways for brands, campaigns, platforms and designs to exist in the world


  • 4-5 years of solid design experience in a creative studio, agency or in-house environment (branding, print and interactive)
  • Proven track-record of working at the intersection of strategy and design
  • Must be organized and have detail-oriented mindset
  • Familiarity with all phases of the design life cycle and ability to work with a team through execution of all phases (strategy, conceptualization, development, budgeting, scheduling, creating proposals, client approvals, resources management; status reporting; deadline tracking; execution; and close-out). THIS IS KEY!
  • Must be comfortable in presenting creative work to clients and internally
  • Must be creative (obviously), passionate, strategic, friendly and a team player


  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
