Onward Search has an immediate need for an experienced Sr. Analyst, Digital Asset Management (DAM) System responsible for developing and maintaining metadata standards used within the organization including taxonomy structure, fields, categories, spaces, & keywords. As upgrades and changes are made to the system, the analyst will review and test any configurations and/or customizations for the DAM. They should be the biggest proponent, in-house advocate and expert in DAM for the organization and maintain an active registry of DAM users and needed permissions. They will also promote, train and support all DAM users on a daily basis. This work entails collaborating with major members within the organization to develop the organization’s digital asset management strategy and vision.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • 45% Manage and cultivate relationship with selected supplier; gaining their trust and being their primary point of contact for issues pertaining to online presentation.
  • 35% Work collaboratively with supplier in identifying new business development opportunities and creating a market strategy to share with Merchant and VMM for future marketing initiatives.
  • 20% Track and measure performance on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis and leverage knowledge gained into actionable results.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Travel:

Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Additional Environmental Job Requirements: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be eighteen years of age or older.

Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Years of Relevant Work Experience: 5 years

Physical Requirements:

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Technical aptitude and agility to learn database systems and web-based tools
  • Proven record of having launched, revitalized, and differentiated brands online; ensured that the brand expression is cohesive across various digital touch points
  • Proven record of having worked with major consumer brands and knowing how to support/differentiate them in the digital space.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with asset curation, with at least 2 years experience in DAM administration or in a related field
  • Strong knowledge of DAM, ADA, metadata taxonomy, and SEO best practices, strategy principles and concepts for assets and digital content
  • Solid knowledge of web publishing and content management systems best practices/standards
  • Solid knowledge of media Digital Rights Management (DRM)
  • Sound experience in data governance, standards and process development
  • Solid ability to work with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Analytics or other tool, HTML/CSS, JIRA or other project management tool, SEO Implementation, and Basecamp
  • Strong communications skills, including reading and writing in English
  • Strong knowledge and experience working with APIs; innovative and logical thinker
  • Strong ability to perform core project management documentation, including Statements of Work and Business Requirements Documentation, and authoring Status Reports
