Onward Search is on the hunt for a Senior Digital Marketing Strategist to join our client's in-house marketing agency for a 3-month contract assignment that starts within the next two weeks. You will report to the Group Digital Director and work across a myriad of our client's brands.

Skills:

  • Guide the overall strategic direction of our digital marketing programs across our brands.
  • Develop and apply consumer and market insights, data, and trends to shape our work.
  • Set the KPI’s for our marketing programs and ensure creative development supports them through the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and provide input on communication strategies, competitive/gap analysis, and the viability of digital strategies and tactics.
  • Partner with the Analytics and Leadership teams to create reports and readouts on marketing programs.
  • Collaborate with the Brand teams to ensure all work supports their business objectives.
  • Understand and use research techniques to leverage existing research and conduct new research.
  • Author and validate business cases proving the value and ROI of proposed marketing programs.
  • Be the voice of the brand and our consumers at all times.
  • Proactively keep up with the latest digital trends and social platforms.
  • Actively contribute to the development of the agency’s culture and standards of quality.
  • Always create an environment that is Collaborative, Dependable, Insightful, Innovative, Memorable, Passionate, Agile, Driven, Diverse, Analytical and Deliberate.

Requirements:

  • 5+ Years in a similar role within an agency or brand environment.
  • Proven track record of digital marketing successes equally showcasing strategic, innovative, productive thinking.
  • Ability to work with brand teams to determine long-term digital goals and identify unmet needs, and recognize strategic opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, campaigns, trends, and measurement approaches.
  • Knowledge of digital media planning, buying, and optimization (TruView, Social, etc.).
  • Understanding of SEO/SEM strategies, tactics, and best practices.
  • Advanced understanding of branding, marketing, and advertising.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills with demonstrable ability to articulate and persuasively sell strategic concepts within the agency and directly to clients.
  • Strong skills in analytics, data interpretation and developing reporting models.
  • Understanding of CRM programs.
  • Strategic thinking; ability to craft the brief, contribute in brainstorms, and strategically direct the work.
  • Understanding of related digital disciplines such as User Experience, Content Strategy & Creation, Production, etc.
  • Proven problem-solving skills at both strategic and tactical levels.
  • Consumer Packaged Goods experience is a plus.
