Onward Search is hiring a Sr. Experience Researcher on a 6-month extendable contract that has the opportunity to go perm with a global financial client
Sr. Experience Researcher identifying user needs, developing insights, and providing recommendations for Operations Product Integrations. Responsible for leading qualitative and quantitative user research initiatives that inform critical decisions for current and future products. Will work closely with cross-product teams to identify research topics that inform business decisions and use best practices in user research to support the entire product design cycle. They will design and execute exploratory field studies with users and subject-matter experts. They will plan, recruit for, and conduct usability analyses in our state-of-the-art usability lab, in the field, or using remote tools. Will collaborate closely with designers, technologists, and product managers and deliver persuasive and compelling findings to executive stakeholders.
Financial management tools should demonstrate the same care and craft as consumer software, designed with contemporary user- and human-centered practices. Senior Experience Researchers demonstrate a higher than usual degree of user empathy and will be able to tell a compelling story about the motivations and intentions of our users, inspiring all stakeholders towards “Aha!” moments.
Senior Experience Researchers scope and craft research strategy, conduct research, and deliver actionable insights on moderately complex research initiatives, are part of multi-disciplinary teams, including Product Designers and Content Designers, committed to designing the future of banking. They are also expected to participate in cross-functional collaboration with Product Managers and Engineers, informing prioritization, planning, and decisions along the way to execution. We expect you to have strengths in the core user research parts of this process, and a desire to continually broaden and improve your skills.
