Onward Search is looking for a Sr. Front-End Developer to join our prominent corporate client here in Atlanta for a long-term onsite contract opportunity!

Job Summary:

  • You are a front-end developer and an expert in CSS.
  • You will work in partnership with our technology teams to help architect a new front end framework.
  • If you have written OOCSS or have refactored CSS on a large scale project, this position has your name all over it.
  • You will have ownership over the project, and sculpt its future.
  • This is a unique opportunity to work on a digital-first marketing and sales enablement team with realistic timelines and a suite of sophisticated tools..

Scope and Scale:

  • This is a W2 contract role and the initial contract term is through the end of 2019.
  • It is likely that this position will either extend or convert into a permanent role following the expiration of the initial contract period.
  • The work must be completed onsite at the client offices in Atlanta.
  • 40 hours/week are expected.

Primary Functions:

  • Concept and develop modern, innovative front-end solutions with an emphasis on ecommerce.
  • Coordinating with our technology teams as well as outside agencies to deliver new experiences while cohering to the newly structured UI framework
  • Developing and maintaining a forward thinking roadmap to improve our website experiences and refining our operational delivery processes

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree in web development, information technology, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of professional web development experience, preferably in a large, complex corporate environment.
  • Prior experience developing ecommerce solutions strongly preferred.
  • Experience working alongside marketing and creative teams as a part of the development process.
  • Fluent in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Well versed in large scale website frameworks, libraries and their architectures
  • Able to take a static comp, wireframe, or prototype and turn into a finished product
  • Experienced in standard front-end development tools and processes (CSS compilers, version control, task runners, etc)
  • Deep experience in JavaScript frameworks including React, Angular, and Ember
  • Familiarity with Sketch/Photoshop, and Axure/Invision
  • An understanding of the basics of Adobe’s Marketing Cloud. Prior hands-on experience with Analytics, Target, Experience Manager, or Audience Manager preferred.
  • A good verbal and written communicator with the ability to regularly report progress, expose issues and spotlight opportunities
  • Commitment to quality, organization, and attention to detail
  • Strong reasoning/problem solving and analytical skills
  • Capable of managing multiple concurrent projects
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex business concepts and processes, including the company’s supply chain, ecommerce, and inventory management operations
  • Team player who can work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative, ability to prioritize tasks, and follow up as needed
