Onward is looking for a Full Time SR MEDIA PLANNER to join a great agency that specializes in Pharma and wellness and can bring expertise in media planning from start to finish. This role requires strategic thinking for it's clients and purposeful management of outside vendors for best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement multi-channel media plans
  • Determine relationships with publishing partners and constantly evaluate to confirm they align with client's media goals and objectives
  • Oversee contracts and all aspects of the campaign setup through media buy and insertion orders, tagging and trafficking, flighting, media buy setup, and post-launch QA
  • Responsible for reporting using pacing and analytics reports, providing insights, implications, and optimizations
  • Client-facing
  • Responsible for post-launch as well, so good rapport needed with vendors and other 3rd parties

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of media planning and buying, including the process within the pharma industry across HCP and DTC
  • BA or higher
  • Solid knowledge of vendor space including both traditional and digital and across tactics (eg, programmatic, endemic, EHR)
  • Quantitative skills while also an analytical and critical thinker
  • Able to multitask, work well under pressure and deadlines
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and specific industry tools and technology (eg, DCM)
  • Use and understanding of third party research options
  • Solid in media math, financial management, publisher terms and conditions, and performance reports
