Senior Product Designer

Our client, a real estate tech start-up, is looking for a Sr. Product Designer to join their growing team. We're looking for candidates with the following skillset and experience to fill the role. 

You will report to the Senior Manager of Product Design and will be Responsible for:

• Delivering product designs from ideation to launch including wireframes, prototypes, UI/UX, and visual design
• Helping to define the design principles and aesthetic for their products and ensuring brand standardization
• Providing feedback to team members and contributing to the design process to push the design aesthetic forward
• Conducting research and using existing research findings to inform your design decisions, keeping different customer needs top of mind across their marketplace
• Collaborating with internal teams (engineering, marketing, growth, etc.) to ensure input is included during development
• Leveraging prototyping to deliver high impact experiences and confidence in product direction
• Increasing the influence and impact of design across the company through compelling storytelling
• Mentoring team members and advocating for the company's design process and methodology

Skills & Experience:

• 5-7 years of experience in product design with strong visual design skills, especially in typography and color theory
• Must have native design experience
• Able to design to address both the functional and emotional needs of customers
• Experience employing a repeatable design process to ship meaningful experiences across web and mobile
• Prior experience collaborating with engineers, product managers, etc. so you have an understanding of technical requirements and how that factors into your designs
• Ability to use research findings to inform design decisions
• Proficient in design tools such as Figma or Sketch
• Comfortable navigating complex projects
• Communicate clearly and concisely, able to explain your design process and methodology
• Empathetic, committed, and curious
