Our client, a global retail design agency, is in search of a Senior Retail Designer to join their team in a full-time role beginning immediately.

Skills:

  • Leading the design projects across multiple clients and projects concurrently - this includes stand-alone stores to displays.
  • Work directly with our clients to ideate and present your creative work.
  • Manage the junior designers and the freelancers as needed.
  • While you'll have direction from our team lead, you will operate in an independent manner when needed.
  • Create concepts for all aspects of store design by brainstorming, sketching designs, assisting in renderings and mock-ups.
  • Leverage your storytelling ability to sell your design approach, keeping in mind the consumer, brand identity and value.
  • Bring strong attention to detail throughout all aspects of your work.

Requirements:

  • You bring 5+ years of experience working in retail or environmental design.
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field: industrial, architecture, interior design or a similar field.
  • You can hand-sketch 2d aspects of your design to communicate the vision.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite programs.
  • Strong experience with 3DS Max modeling and Vray rendering.
  • You have a personal and professional passion for the design industry; it's trends, arts, and culture.
  • Have working knowledge/familiarity with materials and finishes used in retail and interior design.
  • You have high-level understanding of the furniture manufacturing processes.
  • You can work under tight timelines and deal with unforeseen situations.
  • Ability to travel to clients and stores domestically and internationally as needed.
