Our client, an entertainment content company, is seeking a Senior Manager, SEO to join their team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • SEO expert for the team, using a lens to maximize share of search demand for portfolio of domains and digital products
  • Search engine thought leader and help coordinate organic success across and through the product, technology and content teams
  • Accountable for the overall SEO strategy and best practice governance across all portfolio domains and products
  • Produce regular keyword ranking and traffic performance reports, with the intention of pinpointing root cause drops in performance or drivers of growth
  • Develop SEO growth strategies & form targets into quarterly/annual performance plans
  • Lead cross functional teams in delivering prioritized SEO improvement plans for all platforms – across content, technical, site authority strategies
  • Support as the SEO subject matter expert across all product and platform launches as well as migrations
  • Provide thought leadership to the business around search engine best practice and organic search dominance
  • Report to the VP Digital Audience Growth

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years experience with SEO in a performance driven consumer business
  • Entertainment and consumer retail/ecommerce experience a plus
  • Reporting and performance ownership of organic channels within a marketing mix
  • Both content, search authority and technical SEO expertise
  • Proven experience growing bottom-line business performance through SEO optimization
  • Experience working with SEO reporting tools such as BrightEdge, Searchmetrics of SEMrush
  • Deep understanding and familiarity with Google Search Console and Adobe Analytics
  • Ability to compose technical SEO requirements and working knowledge of React JavaScript coding a plus
  • Prior experience navigating site migrations and redesigns
  • Experience with app indexing (iOS Spotlight, Google app indexing, Google Now, and Mobile Chrome SERPs)
