Our client is seeking a Strategic Consultant to join them for a full-time permanent engagement which can be worked remotely anywhere in the United States. We're looking for clients with the following skillset and experience to fill the role. 
 

Responsibilities

  • Delivery of strategic consulting artifacts as outlined in Statements of Work (SOWs) with clients (e.g. Digital Accessibility Policies, Accessibility Statements, Issue Resolution Policies, Procurement and Contracting Clauses, Asset Inventories with Risk Prioritizations, VPAT Authoring Guidelines, Quality Control and monitoring Plans, etc.)
  • Building project plans and tracking to completion assigned strategic consulting engagements
  • Structuring project work including tasks and delivery dates and communicating same with client and ensuring on time delivery; should delivery delays occur, communications should be forthcoming in advance of delivery dates to ensure client alignment
  • Consulting with clients on existing processes, policies, etc. to understand organizational changes needed/impacts, process improvement opportunities.
  • Manage client facing projects, program builds, and general consulting needs with regard to program strategy for clients
  • Developing and maintaining project schedules and managing resource allocation across clients and/or projects
  • Act as Lead for consulting engagements with more junior Strategic Consulting resources

Qualifications

  • 5+ years applied experience in the field of Digital Accessibility (Section 508, WCAG 2.1, CVAA)
  • 2+ years applied experience leading or managing enterprise programs
  • 2+ years applied experience in consulting with focus on account retention and upselling opportunities
  • PMP Certification or willingness to achieve within 1 year of employment
  • Strong writing skills with an understanding of how structure impacts program governance
  • Familiarity with Assistive Technology devices and their use in testing/auditing
