Senior UX Researcher - Consumer Banking

Onward Search needs a UX Researcher for a global finance organization. 

You’ll join the community user experience team to support a better consumer journey and banking products. Specifically, you will focus on the needs of their varied consumer targets, with accessibility and inclusivity in mind. 

This is a 12 month contract opportunity with potential to extend or convert. 

This is a hybrid role in their Plano office with no opportunity for remote.

As a UX Researcher you’ll: 

• Utilize your mixed-method research skillset to expand data and knowledge behind each consumer segment to inform better decisions on banking products 
• Work across departments and with stakeholders to align and achieve the highlighted goals for each product and population 
• Focus on: in depth interviews, surveys, enthography, in-branch conversations/observations, lab tests, and more with a qualitative focus 

Skills & Experience needed:  

• 3+ years of industry UX research, preferably in the banking/finance industry. Less than 3 years industry experience will not be considered 
• Focus on service design and accessibility/inclusivity 
• Previous experience in product differentiation research in retail, e-commerce, for global markets 
• A portfolio with detailed case studies is required for submittal to this role: you will be presenting to stakeholders and must be comfortable creating, presenting, and defending presentations of your research
