Onward Search is on a quest to find a top-notch SEO Manager to join our exciting and rapidly growing cannabis client.

You will report to the Director, Digital Marketing and be responsible for directly increasing highly engaged organic traffic to our client's website. You'll drive SEO strategy in support of key business objectives with goals to improve site infrastructure, taxonomy, naming standards, online content, domain authority through inbound marketing initiatives.

Skills:

  • Drive highly engaged and converting traffic to our client's website.
  • Optimize SEO approach and strategy to support key business initiatives and objectives.
  • Research, analyze, and monitor trends including crucial crawler updates, benchmarks, and innovative techniques to create actionable insights and plans.
  • SEO Vendor management including budget control, communication, project initiatives, and delivery.
  • Support the content strategy team in the development and execution of content creation strategy to drive organic search.
  • Clear, concise documentation of commentary on key initiatives and reporting.
  • Develop and prioritize SEO experiments and ideas.
  • Broad keyword analysis and the selection of brand and long tail keyword combinations.
  • Optimization of on-page information including page content, meta tags, h tags, alt tags, etc.
  • Internal linking strategies to increase PageRank distribution.

Requirements:

  • 5+ Years of progressive experience working in SEO with at least one year at a manager level.
  • Established record of developing and executing successful SEO strategy tactics.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational and PM skills.
  • Must be a self-starter, able to thrive and embrace change, and work in a fast-paced environment.
