Onward Search is seeking an amazing SEO/SEM Specialist for one of our top digital agency clients in ATL. You would be responsible for the following:

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage the latest strategies and trends in paid and organic search engine optimization to accomplish client KPI goals.
  • Articulate through excellent oral and written presentation skill and style compelling search marketing approaches based on substance as depicted above.
  • Run paid ad campaigns through multiple advertising services, leveraging tools to measure and optimize their success.
  • Work closely with production and account teams to optimize the site design for search engine crawling effectiveness.
  • Responsible for reviewing SEO/SEM performance regularly and optimizing poor-performing listings.
  • Ongoing research and optimization of keywords.
  • Responsible for setting up and reporting on overall SEO/SEM program success.
  • Keep update knowledge of current SEO/SEM practices; must maintain awareness of various SEO resources.

Qualifications:

  • Five years previous experience owning SEO/SEM responsibilities either in-house or in a digital agency environment.
  • Deep experience with search engine ranking strategies.
  • Link Building - Internal, external, High Google PR Backlinking.
  • DMOZ/ Google Directory Submission experience.
  • Wiki development experience.
  • Images SEO practice.
  • Experience running large and effective PPC campaigns.
  • A quantitative approach to traffic measurement, and experience with collecting and interpreting site visitor statistics (Web position, WebTrends, Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Research skills to identify, build, and prioritize essential keyword sets.
  • Effective wordsmithing skills for authoring useful ad texts.
  • Excellent writing & communication skills.
  • Project management experience.
  • Efficient, organized, detail oriented.
