Onward Search is looking for a freelance SEO specialist to assist our agency client in Charlotte!


  • Detail-oriented
  • Must be able to simultaneously handle multiple projects in fast paced environment
  • Must possess effective written and oral communication skills
  • Strong communicator
  • Time management skills 


  • 1+ years of experience
  • Experience with wordpress
  • Familiar with SEO best practices
  • Exposure to Yoast plugin (desired not required)
  • Comfortable doing keyword research via Google Keyword Planner
  • Good Writer: Able to put together competent SEO audit reports, write high-quality meta descriptions, optimized client content with minimal need for second set of eyes
  • Ability to ghost write blog posts (nice to have)
  • Someone who is passionate about the SEO world and open to learning and growing OR open to consulting in this capacity given their range of experience 

Work from anywhere! About 4-10 hours per week to start!



  • The client is unable to support 1099 / Corp-to-Corp or Independent Contractor arrangements at this time. All freelancers will be paid as W2 employees.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
