Onward Search has a new opportunity with a big client in New York City. This opportunity is for a Service Designer who can start immediately onsite. Our client is looking for someone who wants to influence their own development and work for a company where there is an opportunity to pursue interests across functions and geographies.   • Design the end-to-end journey of a service, enabling the customer to achieve their goals, and the business to deliver an outcome
  • Creation of, or change to processes, products and content across digital, physical and social channels provided by different areas of the business
  • Other responsibilities as needed/necessary



  • Bachelor’s degree in any of the following areas: Service Design, Psychology, Anthropology, Design Research, Visual Design, UX design, Industrial Design, Prototyping, Strategy
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience in related field
  • Ability to empathize and translate needs into exceptional experiences
  • A willingness to share knowledge with colleagues, or those taking part in design training
  • Previous hands-on experience of designing for a variety of digital touchpoints and non-digital channels.
  • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (Adobe, Sketch, InVision, or other)
  • Strong project and people management skills
  • A confident speaker and presenter (conferences, academic institutions)
  • Knowledge of capabilities and limitations in software, web, and digital enabling technologies
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Strong problem solving and listening skills
