SharePoint Developer I

Our Client, a highly respected agency, is looking for a SharePoint Developer I contractor for a 3-6 month term.

You’ll diagnose end user’s problems with the ability to prescribe the right solution and then determine the right combination of methods using the skills mentioned above to deliver the right features. You’ll map client requirements to SharePoint application functionality identifying creative work arounds when necessary or custom development. You’ll support web development with responsibilities including use of the SharePoint Framework (SPFx) to build web sites and web-based applications. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Interactive Media Design, Graphic Communication, Graphic Design, or related discipline
• Digital portfolio showing experience with user interface design and prototyping
• Three-plus years of related design and technical experience as a SharePoint Developer
• Strong architectural and design skills and the ability to formulate a solution from client requirements
• Comprehensive understanding of object-oriented and service-oriented application development techniques and theories
• • Expert knowledge in SharePoint, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Azure, DevOps, reactive JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular). SharePoint certification is a plus
• • Advanced experience in HTML5 and CSS3 coding, Bootstrap
• • Advanced experience in architecting Microsoft Office 365 based solutions including Power Automate
• • Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a dynamic virtual team environment, work across organizational departments, and instill confidence with the client through work quality, time management, organizational skills and responsiveness
• • Speed and exceptional attention to detail along with the ability to multitask and excel in a fast-paced environment

Skills and attributes for success

• Strong ability to design with accessibility in mind (ADA and Section 508 compliance)
• Good understanding of SEO principles while ensuring that application will adhere to them
• Ability to understand the internal client’s vision through active listening, advanced communication and diplomacy with business partners, project owners, managers and internal team members
• Sound business acumen to adapt while working alongside client-serving professionals
• Ability to initiate and successfully engage in creative ideation sessions and design sprints
• Excel at managing multiple projects, prioritizing milestones and influencing clients and design colleagues to deliver desirable solutions within time frame and budget
• Ability to leverage brand guidelines to develop a range of creative initiatives while utilizing various procedures and processes
• Excellent customer service, communication, interpersonal and teaming skills
• •Experience working in a fast-paced matrixed agency or in-house team environment developing a range of creative initiative
