Onward Search has an agency north of LA that is looking for a SITECORE DEVELOPER / ARCHITECT who is able to be client facing and can perform the hands on development necessary. This role interacts with the clients as well as the internal staff that includes marketing and design. This person is responsible for the coding, testing, debugging and documentation for all new and existing systems. The plan is to develop custom marketing sites to meet the client's needs for multiple brands.
The ideal candidate is quick to learn new code and environments as needed to provide excellent customer service. This is a fast-paced environment where the client is very immeshed in the details. Learning the nuances of healthcare and bio-pharma systems and practices is paramount.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Manage Sitecore websites applications, API's and other web development needs
  • Create database-driven ewb apps and websites using Sitecore and .NET
  • Work with design and architecture teams to develop sites
  • Follow code standards
  • Develop documentation throughout the SDLC
  • Provide technical support and act as an expert on applications
  • Responsible for testing of the applications for both unit and system
  • Provide solutions to any problems with Sitecore
  • Ensure that compliance with policies and procedures to support audits (specially GDPR, security and PCI standards) is being followed accurately


  • 3+ years of C# and ASP.NET web development experience
  • ASP.NET, .NET framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery, MVC
  • 1+ years of experience using the Sitecore Experience Platform 8.0 or newer
  • Experience using the Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA) or ZenGarden
  • 1+ year of experience developing responsive websites using Bootstrap
  • Front-end and back-end development experience
  • Relational Database Design and Development (SQL Server)
  • Website design experience needed
  • Exceptional communication skills required
  • Strong customer service skills needed
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Interest in learning the healthcare business
  • Willingness to learn new technologies
  • Must possess a personal sense of urgency
  • Superior teamwork skills
  • BS or BA degree in Business Systems or Computer Science
  • Transact-SQL, PL-SQL, XML, XSL, Telerik Controls, XML, XSL, HTML5, CSS3, IIS
  • Experience in using SQL Server Integration Services
  • Experience with source control systems, preferably GIT with Team Foundation Server
  • Ability to develop web sites that work on multiple versions of Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox, and Safari and support mobile devices
  • Prior Pharma / Healthcare experience a big plus
  • Comfort with and understanding of a version control, continuous integration, and deployment tools
  • Good understanding of mobile and tablet site development and testing
  • Experience with Atlassian Tools such as JIRA, Confluence is a plus
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies
  • Sitecore Professional Developer Certification is plus
