Onward Search's client, an LA-based e-commerce make-up retailer, is seeking a Social Media/PR Coordinator to join the marketing team. You will report to the Director of Marketing and be responsible for the following areas.

Skills:

  • Repost images on Twitter that will generate buzz, participate in engagement with followers, create and manage giveaway, etc.
  • Use the Tribe Dynamics platform to track and manage influencer engagement.
  • Send PR boxes and input new influencers into the system.
  • Search and save images form Curalate for social media calendar, caption images for social postings.
  • Manage Social Pulls document, which contains tracking info and create new tabs each week.
  • Develop and maintain excellent communications with influencers via email.
  • Handle bi-weekly reports.
  • Upload videos to YouTube.
  • To track and sustain Influencers posts and performance.
  • Find and identify potential User Generated Content that can be shared on BH Social platforms.
  • Brainstorm ideas for social contest and campaigns.
  • Collaborates with the creative team to create channel-specific content.
  • Oversee Tribe Dynamics engage with beauty talent for social content/collaborations, brand buzz, and competitive analytics.
  • Work directly with affiliates to receive the latest products and to facilitate links onto their social channels.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years experience working in social media and online marketing in the beauty, fashion or media-related industry.
  • B.A. degree or equivalent experience.
  • Genuine interest in both the beauty and makeup fields.
  • Extensive knowledge of beauty bloggers, YouTubers, Influencers, etc.
  • Current with social media news and trends.
  • Experienced in the use and navigation of Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, and Snapchat.
  • Demonstrates a highly motivated personality together with a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Requires the ability to work well under pressure together with deadlines, and also in handling last minute assignments and projects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Experience with Curalate, Adobe Suites and Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, Slides) are highly desirable.
